so you want to write for stage?

Writing for stage is a unique experiece many discover early into there writing career. Other than writing for radio, stage writing is the best ways to make your script a reality. This form of script writing is the oldest form of storytelling to date, the most cultured and the most respected. If you can master the skill of writing for performance art you can master it all! Not only does writing for theatre allow you to showcase your work to a live audience but you can get a clear conception of your story during each performance. Every rendition of your work is unique, you can communicate your wants and needs as a creative with your actors first hand and tailor your script during rehearsals and script reads so when it reaches the stage it is polished, consistant and a better version than that which was originally created. Although it may be one of the toughest fields of writing to navigate it is a fantastic way to cut your teeth and experience what raw storytelling is. So break a leg and dont forget the world is a stage!
