SO YOU WANNA WRITE FOR RADIO?
Writing for radio is amongst one of the best ways to break into the writing industry. Radio is all about the dialogue and gives you a chance to really focus on how to craft great conversation that will keep your audience on the edges of their seat.
Writing for radio is also one of the oldest and most respected mediums of entertainment. If you can master radio dialogue you can master any dialogue across multiple different writing mediums.
Unlike many forms of writing radio is the most intimate. You have no choice but to engage with characters feelings and words making it a highly skilled platform to work with. You can listen to audio anywhere making it appealing to audiences on the go, in a car stuck in traffic, on the London tube, or training for a marathon as long as they have the time and a good pair of earphones or radio your words can reach far.
