PITCH TIP 101

HOW TO USE THE FIVE FINGER PITCH METHOD

Wanna know how to make a great first impression with your script pitch? Here is a short slide show answering all your questions. Click next on the slides on the right to learn more about how to use the five finger pitch method to structure your script pitch.

We start from the little finger to the thumb. This method can also help you organise your thoughts on the spot when given the opportunity to tell a potential commissioner about your idea, how it will be feasible and how the series or film relates to others out there

Organise from your little finger to your thumb:

0.1 Little Finger- Genre : What is your ideas

0.2 Ring Finger - Establish Main Protagonist : Who is your hero?

0.3 Middle Finger - The Goal : What is it your hero wants?

0.4 Index Finger - The Obstacle : What is stopping your hero from getting what they want?

0.5 Thumb - Reason : Why should your story be told? What will your story bring to an audience?
