In the small town of Salford everyone knows one another, the postman, the owners of the local shop etc. Vicar’s Wife Bev especially knows her neighbour Maudrey Maguire- unfortunately. It’s only because Maudrey helps Bev’s husband Stan with the Sunday Service at the church that she’s more than an acquaintance. However, when Bev finds a suspicious- silky and tatty- object in Stans briefcase, she infiltrates the radius of Salford.

Sile Mcowen is a reporter investigating the classified case of Dorothy O Della, a nun kidnapped by IRA Agent Johnny Boyle as a means of getting himself over the border to a safe house in Cork. Sile is unwillingly teamed with Sargent Patrick Gilroy of the Dublin Guarda, due to the high profile of Siles Case. Together Sile and Patrick retake the treacherous road traveled by Dorothy and Johnny twenty years ago to try and piece together fragments of their forgotten story, in hopes of discovering why the records office tried to erase their names from history. However as they delve deeper the case becomes darker and more dangerous. Sargent Gilroy begins to suspect Sile isn't all she claims to be.
A whirlwind adventure through time with laugh out loud characters North to South is guaranteed not to disappoint.

It’s winter 1996, the tail-end of “Madchester”, and Dan is caring for his terminally ill aunt. When she passes away, he’s kicked out by his estranged family and moves in with his friends. They introduce him to Jess and the two grow close, but the fallout from his aunt’s death stops Dan from forming a deeper connection with Jess. He keeps reliving his past, using the rave scene as a distraction from his grief. Set on a path to self-destruction, the only way for Dan to accept happiness and fall in love is to face his demons found in the dark.
Featuring all the best Madchester albums of the 90's this is a show that dances to the beat of its own drum. With gripping story, fantastic characters to get your heart pumping and your mind racing delve into the throwback experience, drama, drugs and love stories that is Madhead!
